2. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, accessing, creating an account for, purchasing a subscription to, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Description of the Service
GoWee helps users explore cities through self-guided walking routes, place information, stories, audio content, route progress, and personalized travel recommendations.
Some routes, descriptions, stories, recommendations, translations, and audio materials may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence.
The Service is provided for general informational, travel, and entertainment purposes. It is not an emergency, professional navigation, accessibility, medical, legal, or safety service.
5. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account using Google Sign-In.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the security of your Google account and device;
- providing accurate information;
- all activity performed through your GoWee account; and
- promptly contacting us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must not create an account using another person’s identity or use the Service for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
We do not collect or store your Google password.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity;
- interfere with, disrupt, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit the Service except where permitted by applicable law;
- bypass or attempt to bypass usage limits, access restrictions, payment controls, or security measures;
- upload or transmit malicious code;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
- use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable load on it; or
- use the Service in a way that creates a safety risk for you or another person.
7. Routes, Travel, and Safety
GoWee provides suggested walking routes and travel information. Routes and information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or unsuitable for current real-world conditions.
Routes may be affected by construction, traffic, weather, opening hours, public events, private property, temporary closures, local restrictions, accessibility limitations, unsafe conditions, or errors in third-party data.
You are responsible for:
- observing your surroundings;
- following local laws, traffic rules, signs, and instructions from authorities;
- checking current conditions, opening hours, access restrictions, and route suitability;
- respecting private property;
- evaluating your health, mobility, equipment, and ability to complete a route safely; and
- stopping or changing a route whenever continuing would be unsafe or inappropriate.
Do not interact with the Service while crossing roads, cycling, driving, or doing anything else that requires your full attention.
The Service is not designed for emergency use. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
8. Location and Map Accuracy
The Service may use device location, map information, distance estimates, and place data to provide route-related functionality.
Location and map information may be approximate or affected by device settings, signal quality, third-party services, environmental conditions, or other technical limitations.
GoWee does not guarantee that:
- your displayed position is exact;
- a suggested route is accessible or legally available;
- a route is free from hazards;
- place information, ratings, opening hours, or addresses are current; or
- navigation instructions will always be available.
9. Artificial Intelligence
Some Service content may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence.
AI-generated content may contain factual errors, fictional details, outdated information, unsafe suggestions, unsuitable recommendations, or misleading translations.
You must independently verify important information before relying on it, particularly information concerning safety, access, opening hours, local laws, transport, health, or emergencies.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice.
10. Third-Party Services and Content
The Service may use, display, or link to third-party services and content, including authentication, maps, place information, navigation, ratings, photographs, artificial intelligence, text-to-speech, analytics, payment, cloud hosting, and support services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. GoWee does not control and does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, security, or completeness of third-party services or content.
Your use of Google Sign-In, Google Play, maps, navigation applications, or other third-party services may create a separate relationship between you and the relevant third-party provider.
11. Subscriptions and Payments
GoWee may offer paid features or automatically renewing subscriptions through Google Play.
Before purchase, the applicable price, billing period, trial terms, taxes, and material subscription conditions will be displayed through Google Play.
Payments are processed by Google Play and are subject to the terms applicable to your Google Play account. GoWee does not directly collect or store your full payment card details.
Unless cancelled, an automatically renewing subscription renews for another subscription period at the price shown through Google Play, subject to any notice required by applicable law or Google Play policies.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless applicable law or Google Play policies provide otherwise.
Deleting the GoWee application or your GoWee account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You must separately cancel the subscription through Google Play to prevent future renewal.
Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and Google Play policies.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
12. Consumer Rights and Digital Services
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of your country, including rights relating to digital services, conformity, remedies, transparent contract information, cancellation, or withdrawal.
Any statutory right of withdrawal and any exception to that right will apply according to applicable law and the information presented during the Google Play purchase process.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or replaces rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
13. Intellectual Property
The GoWee application, website, software, branding, interface, original text, original audio materials, route presentation, and other original content are owned by or licensed to the operator of GoWee and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party maps, place information, photographs, ratings, trademarks, and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to use the Service for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred to you.
14. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback to operate and improve the Service without payment or obligation to you.
This does not transfer ownership of personal information contained in your feedback, which remains subject to our Privacy Policy.
15. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical changes, provider changes, abuse prevention, or product development.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Where a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will provide any notice and remedies required by applicable law.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described on the Account and Data Deletion page.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to:
- protect users or the Service;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident;
- comply with law or a binding authority request;
- respond to a material or repeated breach of these Terms; or
- prevent harm to GoWee, its providers, users, or third parties.
Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Account suspension, termination, or deletion does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
17. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that the Service will always be available, error-free, accurate, complete, safe for every user, or suitable for every purpose.
This section does not exclude any warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoWee and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from:
- inability to access or use the Service;
- reliance on AI-generated or third-party information;
- route changes, closures, delays, incorrect place information, or service interruptions;
- loss of data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
- actions of third-party providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liability protected by mandatory law.
You remain responsible for making safe decisions and for complying with applicable laws while using routes and recommendations.
19. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the GoWee Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If a change materially affects your rights or an active paid service, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another appropriate method where required by law.
The updated Terms apply from the effective date shown at the top of the document. Changes will not retroactively reduce mandatory rights or remedies.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or another jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, you may contact us at support@gowee.ai so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court determined under applicable law.
Consumers may also have the right to contact a competent consumer protection body or alternative dispute resolution authority in their country of residence.
